Our Pediatric and Congenital Heart Program brings together a multidisciplinary group of experienced cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons, dedicated nurses, intensivists and anesthesiologists whose teamwork has contributed to the development of many new treatments and techniques in pediatric cardiac surgery, including minimally invasive management of pediatric congenital heart disease.
Our physicians are board-certified and work in collaboration to make all significant patient care decisions. The team’s dedication, cooperation and innovation have led to the achievement of excellent surgical outcomes. Their intelligence, passion for their work and concern for their patients have brought better lives to hundreds of young patients and their families.
With an overall survival rate of almost 98% from July 2015 through June 2019, our team consistently achieves surgical outcomes that exceed the national benchmarks as reported by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS).
