Screening and Testing

BayCare is repositioning resources in response to the novel coronavirus outbreak to help stem the spread of COVID-19. See testing centers below

If you suspect you have coronavirus and have not yet been screened for COVID-19 by a provider, visit BayCareAnywhere.org on your smart phone or computer 24/7 to have a virtual visit with a provider.

Pre-screening is necessary before accessing a COVID-19 testing site.

Remember to only go to our Emergency Rooms if you have an emergency – our ERs are NOT doing public testing.

Getting your test done in the emergency room will result in additional facility and physician fees. If you think you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, the online screening tool helps direct you to the right care and resources including our telehealth app BayCareAnywhere®, COVID-19 Nurse Triage (available weekdays) and drive-thru testing sites (also open on weekdays).

Drive-Through Testing Centers

BayCare’s drive-thru sites serve patients with a doctor’s referral or those who are symptomatic in order to reserve limited testing supplies for those who are most at risk. Individuals who show up at a drive-thru site without a doctor’s referral are screened based on guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Those who meet criteria have a specimen collected for testing.
